Many items in Porto da Lua have been realized using Bamboo instead of wood like for some of the decoration, for many lamps and also for some part of the architectural integration. It is a fascinating and at the same time environmental friendly solution. But it is time intensive to elaborate and use the bamboo, because local people are still untrained in the proper application.
